FIRST DAY |
| Eternal God, whose mercy is without measure,
and who is the treasure of infinite goodness, behold me
prostate before your Divine Majesty. I raise to you a
song of thangsgiving for your mercy from the very botton
of my heart, for all you have granted me by the merits of
your beloved servant Saint Rita of Cascia - I acknowledge,
O my God, that i am unworthy of your favours; by God ever
great, you have answered the prayers of your beloved of
Cascia without looking at my unworthiness. How great is my thanksgiving to you, O
Saint Rita, all powerful wonderworker of the Catholic
Church! How true it is that your charity does not leave
anyone who hopes disappointed. Be always favourable to me,
that i may be worthy of the mercies of God and of your
protection. |

loving Heart of Jesus, rich and
generous in infinite mercy, you do not wish for the death
of a sinner, but for his conversion: behold me now at
your feet. I thank you with all my heart for the special
favour you have granted me through the merits of your
wellbeloved servant Saint Rita of Cascia - What can i
give you Lord in return for all that you have desined to
give me. O God of all goodness, my humble and everlasting
gratitude forever sings your praises. My heart jumps with
joy and blesses Saint Rita to whom i adress a fervent
pray that she will keep me from sin and lead me to one
day rejoice with my sweet Jesus for all eternity. |

| Lord, God of all goodness, you grant the
prayer of he who puts his trust in you. I bless you from
the very depth of my heart and i thank you unceasingingly
for consoling meby the merits of your well-be loved
servant, Saint Rita. And you, o illustrious wonderworker,
whose name is proclaimed with Joy throughout the whole
world, accept my most deep-felt thanks. I would like o
spread your charity and your heavenly power throughout
the world. O shining star of the Augustian Order, in
thanking you of your graces, i will become an apostle of
devotion to you. i will announce everywhere that you are
truly the saint of impossible casses, Advocate of lost
causes, and especially to those for whom there appears to
be no longer any earthly hope. Amen. |

| From the depths of my pain i turn to you
who are called Saint of impossible cases: I am confident
that you will have mercy on me. Take away the troubles
which weigh me down on all sides. Give me back my peace
of soul. I have not been able to find any conford from
anywhere else. I have full confidence in you who have
been chosen by God to plead for us in our needs. If my sins are an obstacle to my fulfillment of my duties, i beg you to ask God to pardon me. Do not allow my sighs to last long. Reward my hope in you, and i undertake to make know everywhere your mercy to afflicted souls. O beloved spouse of Jesus Crucified, intercede for me now and for ever. Amen. |

sweet Jesus, you allowed your
faithful servant Rita to be sorely tried in her state of
life as spouse, mother and widow, and then raised her to
evangelical perfection by directing her miraculously to
the sacred monastery of Cascia, and entrusting her
yourself to the Augustian nuns: give us the grace, we beg
you to be able to live our lives in the midst of worldly
goods without losing our heavenly inheritance. Amen. |

well-beloved daughter of Saint
Augustine, we place all our trust in you: If God has
given you to us as a model for every state of life, then
he has also allowed you to be a powerful intercessor for
us. Through the love wich you bore in your heart for
Jesus, through the admirable patience and resignation
which you showed during your final sikness which lasted
for four years, through the desire you had to drink the
chalice of his Passion with Jesus, and this to the last
dregs, we earnestly beseech you to come to the aid of
this sick person in his sufferings. He is certain that
you will help him, and we beg you to restore to him
health of soul and body, so that God may be glorified in
the saints, and you most particularly, for ages unending.

call upon you, o bright star of
heaven.Guide me and guide all those i love across the
troubled sea of this life, right to the gate of heaven,
so that there we may also love you, bless you, and be
