O most powerful wonderworker, Saint Rita, from your true and only sanctuary of Cascia, where you sleep of peace and where your mortal remains give a foretaste of heaven, Turn an eye of pity on me who suffers and weeps. You see my poor heart surrounded by thorns, and bleeding with pain. Weary and discourage: aged i feel that even prayer dies on my lips. Should i despaire in these terrible moments of my life? Come to my help.O, Saint Rita, listen to my prayer. Have you not been called by all the Christian people << Saint of impossible Cases >>. Advocate of desperate cases.Live up to this title by obtaining for me the grace for which i now beg God to give me through your intercession (mention it). Everyone acclaims your wonders, and the marvels worked by you. Pray to your sweet Jesus for me that he will lighten my burdens, and that through you, o good Rita, i may obtain that which my heart so ardently desires. |

cascia, the path of your life was strewn with prickles
and disappointments and thorns which broke your heart.
Truly, Saint Rita, you suffered the most cruel pain which
you endured drop by drop until you had emptied the
chalice of suffering. With this in mind i come to you now
to ask you to obtain the grace for which i now pray (

heartbreak and suffering of soul. This is why you will
come to my help. The Lord wishes to make your person
known near and far by the supplications that mankind
confidently presents to you. Here i am to before you,
humble and in great need; Beg your Divine Spouse to grant
my request: this i implore you with my whole heart. |
3 Our father, Hail Mary,

In vain and weighed down by suffering i
look for some respite, but i do not see any hope, and i
feel completely lost and broken. O dear Saint Rita , you
shine like a bright star the Church, and i know that you
can light up my difficult road , and give hope to my
broken heart. I give myself to you: and await from you
the grace which i so ardently pray for. ( mention it
) i beg you to obtain it through our Crucified
Saviour, you were sorely tried when through obedience you
entered into marriage with one who made your life
unbearable. You loved him with such holiness that you
wept at his tragic death. Obtain for me what i ask
through the heroic sacrifice you made in offering your
sons to God before they were able to commit sin. By the
graces you merited from so much suffering obtain the
grace which i so ardently beg for. |

advocate, so that you may obtain for me the forgiveness
of my sins, and the firm resolve never to sin again. With
wholehearted sorrow i beg you, O powerful wonderworker,

need. One word from you to Jesus and heaven will send
down mercy and forgiveness. |
